This region is known for the most numbers of sunny days in a year – the nearby city of Saranda is called “the city of 300 sunny days”. Sea temperature reaches 28 degrees in August. This region is famous for excellent olive oil – Borsh and the nearby Qaparo and Piqeras have small and industrial olive oil manufactures.
